How To Help

CASA Volunteer Application

Contact our CASA Case Manager at 605-760-1766 to complete the application process.

CASA volunteer training consists of 30 hours of instruction following the National CASA Association's training curriculum. Some of the 30 hours is in person, some independent learning, some guest speakers, and some on-site visits. After successfully completing training, new CASA volunteers are sworn in by a First Judicial Circuit Juvenile Court Judge and are eligible to be assigned as a CASA advocate for an abused or neglected child.
