Red Shoe Gala
It’s our first fundraising event in Clay County, and it’s going to be a good one! Get your red shoes ready (high heels, sandals, boots, athletic shoes…any style you want) and plan to join Southeast CASA at the Eagles Club in downtown Vermillion on Saturday, Sept. 23rd. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. with raffles, a chance to win the $500 jackpot, and of course a few red shoe contests! The highlight of the evening will be the Dueling Duo pianos show. You won’t want to miss it! We put the FUN in Fundraising! All proceeds will be used in Clay County to provide abused and neglected children with a CASA advocate.
As Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz” said as she clicked her ruby slippers, “There’s no place like home.” Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, nurturing home. Unfortunately there are children in our own community who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect by their parents. Who will speak for these kids in court when decisions are being made about their future? A CASA volunteer advocate!
By attending the Red Shoe Gala for CASA fundraiser on Sat., Sept. 23, you will be providing support for the advocacy services these kids so desperately need.
Sanford Vermillion is the sponsor of the Reverse Raffle jackpot. Every ticket holder is in the running to win $500!
Tickets are available at The Bean Coffee Shop, Willson Florist, and Davis Pharmacy in Vermillion, or by credit card (coming soon).
