As Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz” said as she clicked her ruby slippers, “There’s no place like home.” Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, nurturing home. Unfortunately there are children in our own community who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect by their parents. Who will speak for these kids in court when decisions are being made about their future? A CASA volunteer advocate!
By attending the Red Shoe Gala for CASA fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. on Sat., Sept. 23, at the Eagles Club in downtown Vermillion, you will be providing support for the advocacy services these kids so badly need.
Southeast CASA makes it fun to fund our program! Attendees will enjoy raffles, a reverse raffle jackpot, red shoe contests, and the Dueling Duo pianos show!
Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased in mid-August through Sept. 23 at The Bean Coffee Shop, Willson Florist, and Davis Pharmacy in Vermillion. Tickets may be purchase via credit card here (coming soon).
